Andy Mark develops, manufactures, and distributes mechanical and electrical parts for the mobile and competitive robotics market, geared towards robotics education. Formed in 2004 by Andy Baker and Mark Koors, the company has a mission to support and grow robotics education and innovative mechanical design. And since most robotics teams are in schools, Baker looks at himself as a form of an educator – maybe even a high-tech coach. Together, the robotic-minded duo of Baker and Koors has more than 60 years of engineering experience. Through their volunteer work with FIRST Robotics Competition teams, they identified a niche market and began designing and selling robotics components targeting the competitive robotics community. Instead of a high school robotics team searching the internet for days to find the parts they need, they can simply call AndyMark. –
